I-35 from Rundberg Lane to US 290E, TxDOT

 

NLA was the public involvement lead for the Environmental Assessment on the I-35 from Rundberg Lane to 290E project for TxDOT. The purpose of the project was to improve safety and mobility. The proposed improvements included adding three flyovers at I-35/183 interchange; improving the existing I-35 northbound to US 183 northbound flyover; rebuilding St. Johns Avenue bridge; constructing new frontage road U-turns; constructing new intersection bypass lane under the St. Johns bridge; adding extended entrance/exit ramps; reconfiguring and improving ramps and shoulders; and improving bicycle and pedestrian facilities.
