TxDOT Environmental Affairs

(March 2007 to December 2012)

 

NLA provided public involvement services for environmental projects as needed for TxDOT Environmental Affairs. Specific projects included SH 107 in Pharr, Loop 375 and Buford/Horizon Boulevard in El Paso, the Copano Bay Causeway in Rockport, and SH 45/O’Connor in Round Rock.

• Public involvement strategy development and coordination
• Project contact database
• Public Meeting(s) and/or a Public Hearing planning and implementation

  • Advertisements (English and Spanish display ads, legal notices)
  • Notifications (letters to elected and agency officials, flyers, etc.)
  • Handout and exhibit preparation
  • Court reporter and security contracting
  • Event staffing
  • Comment collection and response

• Public Meeting and Public Hearing Summary Reports (including comment responses)
