I-35 Hays County Feasibility Study, TxDOT

 

NLA was the public involvement lead on this feasibility study, which identified preliminary improvement concepts and developed an implementation plan for I-35 in Hays County. This implementation plan will be incorporated into the overall Mobility35 implementation plan for Williamson, Travis, and Hays counties.

 

NLA responsibilities included:

 

• Project contact database creation and maintenance
• Stakeholder meetings

  • Materials preparation
  • Staffing
  • Documentation

• Open House planning and implementation (for six Open Houses)

• • Venue identification, scheduling and contracting
  • Layout preparation
  • Advertisements (English and Spanish display ads)
  • Notifications (flyers, letters to elected officials, and e-blasts to project mailing list)
  • Court reporter and translator contracting
  • Preparation of handouts, sign-in sheets, exhibits and signage
  • Event staffing
  • Coordination on online Open House
  • Preparation of Summary and Analysis Report and Comment and Response Report
